Emma and Drew’s Liberty Station San Diego, California wedding was an absolutely magical day full of an abundance of joy. From the first moments getting ready with their groomsmen and bridesmaids, to dancing the night away… it was the perfect day for the sweetest couple. The venue was icing on the cake for their whimsical, romantic wedding day.
Emma and Drew first met many years ago when both of them were performing in Mary Poppins; the rest is history. There’s something so special about watching a couple who are truly best friends get married. Emma and Drew emanated so much love and emotion for one another throughout their entire wedding day. But what was even more heartwarming to witness was just how much love, joy, and support surrounded them. I think it goes without saying, but it’s always the hope of a couple that those in their wedding party are their to hype them up and be there for them. Emma and Drew’s wedding party really set the standard! 🤩
Trying to choose a favorite part of their wedding day as I’m reminiscing is almost impossible; so I’ll say a few. The wedding ceremony was so special for Emma and Drew. As if their wedding vows weren’t enough to bring everyone to tears… One of their friends performed a Mary Poppins’ piano medley. It’s safe to say that there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. Once the “I do’s” were said, it was time to get the party started. As I mentioned before, Emma and Drew’s wedding party knew how to party! The grand entrances set the tone for the rest of the evening. Not only did Emma and Drew pop, lock, & drop their way into the reception, but the dancing didn’t stop from that moment on. Emma and her dad did a fun choreographed dance before the rest of the dancing commenced. My face actually hurt from how wide I was smiling throughout the entire day – but especially during the reception!
Dear Emma & Drew,
My wish for you both is that you continue to live your life together with as much fun and youthfulness as you did in the days of Mary Poppins. The love you have for one another radiates not only through one another, but through everyone that is in your circle. I can’t wait to see where the next chapter in your love story takes you.
