Lido House, Newport Beach Wedding

If you’re like me, and intimate weddings hold a special place in your heart, then prepare yourself for this one. Taylor and Alec’s Lido House, Newport Beach wedding was a coastal dream. From the warm Spring breeze to the beaming sunshine, I don’t think a more ideal day exists. Like every other wedding I photograph, I couldn’t wait to get up on the blog; I’m pumped to finally share these beauties!

Throughout their entire wedding day, Taylor and Alec were filled with the utmost excitement yet calmness. I even remember Taylor telling me just how stress-free she was feeling; the energy in the bridal suite was so refreshing. One of my favorite parts of every wedding day, no matter the size, is being in the company of the wedding party. Some of the most important people in the bride’s life had put together a compilation video for her to watch while she got ready; and yes, the happy tears were flowing. Over in Alec’s room, the guys were hyping him up – and he just couldn’t stop beaming from ear to ear. 

Newport Beach Wedding Ceremony

Taylor and Alec’s wedding ceremony was one of the most thoughtful, romantic ceremonies I’ve witnessed to this day. What stood out to me the most were two things:

1. Alec couldn’t wait to see Taylor. When she got to the alter with her dad, he wrapped her up in a big hug before the ceremony began.
2. Each and every person present during their ceremony (all 8 of them) had so much love for the couple.

Through tear-filled eyes, Taylor and Alec each said their handwritten vows. And then it was time to take a ton of sweet romantics! 

I loved that this sweet couple knew exactly what they wanted out of their wedding day. It’s no secret that I am a huge beach lover. But Taylor knew that she didn’t want to venture down to the beach and get covered in sand. We took advantage of the stunning Lido House and created some beautiful magic! Taylor and Alec popped some champagne, spent time with their families, and had the wedding day of their dreams.

Dear Taylor and Alec,

I have no doubt that the beautiful, beaming smiles you wore on your wedding day will last a lifetime. The value each and every person felt on your wedding day (including me!) was something to be treasured. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter of your life together takes you.
