Cambria and Luis’ romantic Southern California wedding at Walnut Grove was seriously straight out of a dream; it was absolutely perfect. One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to be a storyteller. Cambria and Luis’ love story is a sweet one, so get ready!

The Love Story

The love story of The Diaz’s started 6+ years ago. Cambria had been praying for her future husband for 6 years before she met her soulmate. Just 6 days before Luis and Cambria matched on Hinge, Luis realized how beautiful marriage was. As he deepened his relationship with God, he began to recognize how fundamental that relationship truly is. Just three weeks into dating, Cambria knew that Luis would be the man she married. On the day of their wedding, they had known each other for 364 days, which means at the 1 year mark of them knowing and loving each other, they woke up as husband and wife. I mean, if that’s not straight out of a love story, I don’t know what is! 

The Wedding Day

The wedding day itself was absolutely stunning. A perfect breeze danced through the trees, warm sun kissed everyone’s skin, and the sweetest bird songs filled our ears. The ceremony and reception spaces were absolutely dreamy, filled with fragrant eucalyptus and olive sprigs. Cambria chose The Walnut Grove wedding venue never having seen it in person; she had remembered a Bible verse in the Song of Solomon referencing a walnut grove, and took it as a sign that it was meant to be. Their vision was perfect.

Happily Ever After

The love and intention that surrounded this wedding day filled my heart to the brim. God’s love was so so evident through these two. Just when I think I couldn’t possibly love my job any more, beautiful, wholesome, genuine couples like Cambria and Luis come along and prove me wrong.
