Laguna Beach, California Surprise Proposal || Candice and Justin

Is there anything more romantic than when a guy plans a photographer for his proposal!? I don’t think so. (Head over to my Instagram to check out my top 6 Proposal Tips!) I don’t think you guys are even ready for this Laguna Beach surprise proposal. 😍

Justin reached out to me over Instagram as he was beginning to plan his surprise proposal to Candice. The sweet couple was staying in Laguna Beach for the weekend, so Justin and I decided that Shaw’s Cove would be the perfect location for him to pop the question. 

Candice and Justin walked around the beach for awhile. The sky was the perfect shade of pink and blue on the horizon and the golden sun was shining. The sand was cool to the touch and the air was crisp and salty. I was trailing behind them, trying to blend in with other photographers at the beach. Candice didn’t know I was there, and didn’t have a clue what was about to happen.

Finally the moment came where Justin got down on one knee and asked Candice to spend forever with him. Of course, she said yes! So many happy tears were falling as the excitement grew. They took a quiet moment alone before we started taking their engagement photos! We had a blast taking some romantic engagement photos along the beautiful beach.

Candice and Justin, you two were so much fun to photograph. Your genuine happiness and deep deep love was evident to everyone on the beach. You two say ‘I do’ next summer I cannot wait to be there to capture another special day for them. (Have I said yet how much I love being a photographer?!)
