Mission Blue is founded by Dr Sylvia Earle, one of the world's leading marine researcher, one of the first women in the SCUBA industry, and a huge role model of mine. The goal of Mission Blue is to protect 30% of the world's oceans by 2030 by creating protected areas called "Hope Spots". Hope Spots are areas that are critical to the health of the ocean.
